Merry Christmas Gingerbread Sign

A Little Sweetness for Your Wall or Door

This merry christmas gingerbread sign is one of those pieces that makes people smile the moment they spot it. A crisp round sign featuring bold red script reading “Merry Christmas” — framed by plaid ribbon, pine sprigs, and a whole crew of cheerful laser-cut gingerbread folk — it’s warm, whimsical, and exactly right for the season. Whether it goes on your front door, in your entryway, or propped on a mantel, it earns its place every single year.

About the Design

The merry christmas gingerbread sign features a round composition with a crowd of smiling gingerbread figures across the lower half and festive script front and centre. The plaid bow and pine accent at the top give it that cosy, gathered-around-the-table feeling. It’s a design that works just as well in a farmhouse kitchen as it does on a modern front door — because gingerbread people are universally beloved, and nobody’s going to argue with that.

Choose Your Way

Your merry christmas gingerbread sign comes in two options, shown in the product selector on this page:

Kit — The laser-cut wood pieces arrive ready for you to paint, assemble, and finish at home. It’s a lovely project to do solo on a quiet evening or together with children around the table. All the precision cutting is done; the fun part is yours.

Ready to Gift — Prefer to skip straight to hanging it up? Grey Barn Handwerk assembles and finishes the sign for you so it arrives ready to display. No brushes required.

Sizes and option details are shown in the product options on this page.

Make It Yours

Have a specific colour palette in mind — maybe your living room is more burgundy-and-cream than classic red-and-white? If you’re ordering the Kit, the paint choices are entirely in your hands. For Ready to Gift personalization questions, just reach out before you order and we’ll have a chat about what’s possible.

Gift Ideas

The merry christmas gingerbread sign makes a wonderful hostess gift, a thoughtful present for a neighbour, or a keep-it-for-yourself treat you wrap up and put under the tree. The Kit version is especially popular with crafty friends and family who love a hands-on project during the slower weeks of the season.
