Your name and e-mail go on the list; your phone number and birthday are optional. Nothing gets sold or shared, and every e-mail has an unsubscribe link that actually works. It’s a mailing list run from the Loft of the Barn, not a data operation.
What Our Newsletter Looks Like
The Grey Barn newsletter is short and friendly, written the way we’d talk to you at pickup. One new piece we’re excited about, a quick story from the Barn or the farm, and the odd behind-the-scenes photo from the loft. When there’s a subscriber-only deal, it’s right there at the top so you don’t have to hunt for it.
New subscribers get our free Prairie Christmas Gift Guide, full of ideas for the people on your list, from the person who has everything to the teacher, the coach and the grandparents.
How Often the Newsletter Arrives
There’s no fixed schedule and no daily e-mails. Busy seasons like Christmas might mean a couple of notes a month; quiet months might mean none. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and one click takes you off the list, no questions asked.
Who the Newsletter Is For
It’s for anyone who likes knowing what’s new before everyone else: regular customers, people who love a good handmade gift, crafters who like our laser-cut Kits, and anyone planning ahead for Christmas, birthdays or a wedding. In November and December we also share friendly shipping reminders, like Canada Post holiday cut-off dates, so your gifts arrive in time. If you’d rather follow along on social media instead, that’s fine too. Either way, we’re glad you’re here.

A first look at new laser-cut signs and ornaments before they reach the shop. A peek at a custom order coming together in the loft. Gift ideas for a season or a special day that’s coming up. The occasional workshop or class date when we set one. And now and then, a story from the farm that has nothing to do with selling anything, because some days on a Saskatchewan farm are just too good not to share. That’s the whole idea: a little bit of the Barn in your inbox, only when it’s worth opening.

We never sell or share your information. Your name and e-mail are used only to send you the newsletter and the occasional order update, and we follow Canada’s anti-spam law on every message we send. If you share your birthday, it’s only so we can send a little something from the Barn that month.
