Grey Barn Handwerk is a one-woman handcraft business in St. Gregor, Saskatchewan. Our website address is https://greybarn.ca. We’re committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your information is collected, used, and safeguarded. As a Canadian business, we comply with PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) and CASL (Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation).

What We Collect and Why

Orders. When you place an order, we collect your name, e-mail, shipping address, and order details so we can make and deliver your products. Payment is processed securely by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card details.

Forms. When you submit our contact or custom order forms, we collect the information you enter (name, e-mail, phone if provided, your message, and any images you upload) so we can respond to your request and produce your order.

Newsletter. If you subscribe, we collect your name, e-mail, and — if you choose to share them — your phone number and birthday, so we can send you updates and the occasional birthday offer. Every e-mail includes an unsubscribe link, and you can leave any time.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Insights, a cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool. It doesn’t store anything on your device or track you across the web — we simply see how many people visit and which pages they view.

Spam protection. Form submissions and any comments are automatically screened through a third-party spam detection service to keep the site safe.

Who We Share Your Data With

We don’t sell or trade your data. We share it only with the services needed to run the shop: our payment processor (to process your payment), Canada Post (to deliver your order), and our spam-screening service. If you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset e-mail for security.

How Long We Keep Your Data

Order records are kept as required for accounting and tax purposes. Form submissions are kept as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting order. If you have an account, you can view, edit, or delete your profile information at any time — except your username, which can’t be changed.

Your Privacy Rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to erase it — unless we’re required to keep it for legal, accounting, or security reasons. To make a request, reach out through our contact form.
