How the Gift Finder Works

The gift finder asks three quick things: what the gift is for (a shelf like Laser Cut, Drinkware, or Kitchen), your budget and what kind of gift you have in mind, whether that’s a wood piece made in the Barn, a mug, shirt, or blanket with their name, or a design picked first. Then it shows you the pieces that fit, all made to order in the Barn, just north of St. Gregor, SK. Try different answers to see a different shelf until something clicks.

Gift Finder Ideas by Who You’re Shopping For

For the cook in the family: an engraved cutting board with a family name, a tea towel, or an apron. For grandparents: a photo blanket, a pillow or a mug with the grandchildren’s names. For teachers, coaches, and coworkers: a mug, a tumbler or a coaster with a name or a favourite saying.

For new babies and their parents: a personalized bodysuit or a first Christmas ornament with the year. For the dog or cat lover: a pet bandana or a laser-cut paw ornament with their pet’s name. Kit or Ready to Gift?

Many of our laser-cut pieces come two ways. A Kit arrives cut and ready to paint, which makes a lovely gift for crafty people and a fun evening together. Ready to Gift is painted and finished in the Barn, so it’s ready to hang or wrap the day it arrives. The gift finder shows both, and each product page lets you choose.

Shopping for staff, clients, a team or a group of volunteers? Shipping, Pickup, and Timing

Every gift is made to order, one piece at a time, so ordering early is your friend, especially in November and December. Pick it up for free at the Barn, or we ship it by Canada Post anywhere in Canada.
