Home Sweet Gnome with Snowflakes Sign

Welcome Home, Little Gnome

The home sweet gnome sign is one of those pieces that just makes people smile the moment they spot it. A rosy-nosed gnome dressed in a tall orange hat and matching boots stands proudly on a snowy drift, lantern in hand, flanked by swirling snowflakes and cheerful polka-dot snow. Bold lettering reads Home Sweet Gnome — a pun so good you’ll want to display it all season long. The whole design sits on a round wood panel with a beautifully detailed floral-texture background that catches the light just right.

About the Design

This home sweet gnome sign is laser-cut in Grey Barn Handwerk’s own studio in St. Gregor, Saskatchewan, with every detail precision-cut so the layers fit together crisp and clean. The gnome’s big fluffy beard, the snowflake brooch on his hat, and the tiny hanging lantern are all individual pieces — which means the finished sign has gorgeous dimension whether you’re hanging it by the front door, in the entryway, or anywhere that could use a bit of whimsy.

Choose Your Way

The home sweet gnome sign comes in two options, shown in the product selector above.

DIY Kit — You get all the laser-cut wood pieces, pre-cut and ready for your creativity. Grab your favourite colours, settle in at the kitchen table, and make an evening of it. Great for a solo project or a fun activity with children. Paint, brushes and glue are not included — this is your chance to personalize every detail.

Ready-Made — Prefer to skip straight to the hanging-it-on-the-wall part? We assemble and finish the home sweet gnome sign for you in the colours shown (or chat with us about variations). It arrives ready to display.

Make It Yours

With the DIY Kit, the colour choices are entirely up to you — swap the orange for deep burgundy, dusty blue, forest green, or whatever suits your space. If you’re ordering a Ready-Made and have something specific in mind, send us a note through the shop and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Either way, this home sweet gnome sign is going to look like it was made for your home — because, well, it was.

Gift Ideas

Know someone who’s gnome-obsessed? (We all do.) This makes a warm, thoughtful housewarming gift, a hostess gift that actually gets displayed, or a treat-yourself moment that’s completely justified. Tuck a DIY Kit into a gift bag with some paint for a ready-to-go craft night in a box.
