Old Fashioned Candy Cane 5 Cents Sign

The Old Fashioned Candy Cane Sign That Belongs on Your Wall

This old fashioned candy cane sign is the kind of piece that stops people in their tracks and makes them smile. Styled after the beloved vintage shop signs of a bygone era, it features bold red lettering spelling out “Old Fashioned Candy Canes — 5¢,” complete with two classic candy canes flanking the price medallion. It’s cheerful, it’s cheeky, and it looks right at home whether you’re decking out a kitchen, a playroom, a mudroom, or a festive display nook.

About the Design

The old fashioned candy cane sign is laser-cut here in St. Gregor, Saskatchewan, with that layered, dimensional look that gives it real depth and presence on a wall. The ornate frame shape, the patterned lettering, and the whimsical candy cane details are all cut with precision — the kind of detail that’s impossible to achieve by hand. It’s a little bit retro, a little bit sweet, and a whole lot of fun.

Choose Your Way

This old fashioned candy cane sign comes in two options — pick the one that suits you best:

• DIY Kit: You get all the laser-cut wood pieces ready to assemble, paint, and make your own at home. Perfect for a cosy craft night, a project with children, or anyone who loves the satisfaction of finishing something themselves. Colours, finishes, and flair are entirely up to you.
• Ready-Made: We assemble and finish the sign right here at Grey Barn Handwerk. It arrives ready to hang and admire — no fuss, no brushes required. Just pick your spot on the wall and enjoy it.

Sizes and additional options are shown in the product options above.

Make It Yours

The old fashioned candy cane sign is already a showstopper on its own, but it’s also a wonderful base for your own creative touch. DIY Kit customers can paint it in any colour palette they like — go classic red and white, try something unexpected, or match your space exactly. Ask us if you have questions about customizing your ready-made order.
