About Grey Barn Handwerk
Grey Barn Handwerk is a handcraft business in St. Gregor, Saskatchewan — population 350, one gas station, no traffic lights. Every product we sell is designed, laser-engraved, sublimated, assembled, and packaged right here in our workshop. Not assembled from imported parts. Not finished locally. Made here, start to finish.
“We believe everyday items should tell a story. That’s why every Saskatchewan handmade gift we create refuses to be boring—just like the people who buy them.”
What We Make
We make Saskatchewan-inspired gifts and custom products that people actually use. Ceramic mugs with designs that make people laugh at breakfast. Tumblers that keep coffee hot through a full morning of chores. Cutting boards engraved with family names and coordinates. Bunnyhugs with highway signs and prairie pride. Wood signs that mark the places that matter. Blankets, pillow covers, drinkware, apparel, and custom pieces we design together based on your idea.
Everything is made using laser engraving, sublimation printing, vinyl heat transfer, or a combination — depending on the product and the design. We choose the method that gives the best, most durable result for each piece.

Why It’s Made Here
We make prairie-inspired products because we live on the prairies. Highway signs, grain elevators, endless horizons — that’s our daily view, not something we researched online. When someone orders a custom highway sign mug, we’ve probably driven that highway. When someone wants coordinates from a Saskatchewan lake, we likely know exactly where that is.
Making everything in-house gives us control that isn’t possible any other way. We see every product at every stage. We cut it. We sublimate it. We inspect it. We package it. If something isn’t right — a colour shift, a misaligned transfer, an unclean cut — it gets caught and fixed before it ever ships. We’ve scrapped entire batches of mugs because the sublimation didn’t bond properly. The colour looked fine, but we knew it wouldn’t survive washing. We redid them. That’s the standard.
Supporting Local
When you buy from Grey Barn Handwerk, your money stays local. You’re supporting a woman-owned small business in rural Saskatchewan, fair wages for Saskatchewan workers, the local economy in St. Gregor, and the kind of independent making that keeps small towns alive.
We source from Canadian suppliers whenever possible. Ceramic blanks, wood, sublimation paper and ink all come from Canadian vendors. Some specialty materials aren’t available locally, but Canadian sources are always our first choice.
We’re not the cheapest option and we’re honest about that. You’re paying for the product and the work — not layers of markup, not retail overhead, not a marketing department. We keep costs down by running lean, skipping middlemen, and selling directly to you.

What Grey Barn Customers Order Most

Prairie Pride Collection
Saskatchewan highway signs, provincial pride designs, and prairie-inspired pieces that celebrate where we’re from. These are the products that make people say “I’m from here and I’m proud of it.” Perfect for anyone who left Saskatchewan but still calls it home — or anyone who stayed and loves where they are.

Personalized Gifts &
Custom Orders
Your idea meets our workshop. We take custom orders for wedding keepsakes, family gifts, corporate merchandise, and whatever idea you’ve been sitting on. Engraved cutting boards, custom signs, personalised mugs, branded tumblers — each piece is designed with you and made for the person receiving it.

Handcrafted Woodwork
Cutting boards, signs, ornaments, and home décor — all laser-engraved on solid wood and finished by hand. Quality materials and precise laser work create pieces that bring warmth and character to any space. Built to last, not to be replaced next season.
